By becoming a member of the Franschhoek SPCA, you not only help in raising funds for the SPCA by paying a yearly or lifetime fee but you are also given the opportunity to participate & vote at our annual general meeting. Members are also offered the chance to participate in helping the committee shape the future of the organisation and the work we do in preventing cruelty to animals and educating our communities.

Volunteering at the SPCA is not just about walking dogs. We look for people with any skills that will help us to help the animals. Examples of services needed: animal behaviourist, builder, IT, painters or general handy man, etc. Volunteering doesn't have to be a full-time job - if you have a skill or idea that you think you can offer our organisation, please let us know!
Companies wanting to complete their social responsibility community services are also welcome.

If you list Franschhoek SPCA as your MyPlanet/MySchool Card beneficiary, every time you swipe your card we receive a small donation. A MyPlanet/MySchool Card can be used with your purchases at various retail outlets around South Africa including Woolworths, Franshhoek Pharmacy, ToysRus, SupaQuick, Engen, Waltons and many more.

It’s easy, it’s free, and you can help us raise funds for the work we do . Click here to apply for your card today!

Bequests are critical to the long-term viability of animal welfare organisations. If you would like a Franschhoek SPCA representative to discuss with you the possible options for a bequest, please contact us.

One of the most important things our generation can do is to provide the means for the continued prevention of cruelty to animals in the future. Your gift to the Franschhoek SPCA – whether it is a bequest or a life insurance policy – can be pivotal to this aim.

How do I start this process?

If you choose to make a bequest to the Franschhoek SPCA in your Will, we would love to know. We appreciate and value your support. We would love to visit you personally and get to know you better!

If you have a little bit of time left, how about start writing your own bucket list_edited.jpg
